Two reasons carry three quarters of the list

Every elector carries exactly one reason code. Untraceable or absent and permanently shifted run almost level with each other, and between them account for three of every four electors on the list.

Where listings concentrate

Listings per booth run 13.8 times higher in some seats than others

Raw totals mostly track how big a constituency is, so they say little on their own. Listings per polling part is the fairer comparison: parts are near-uniform units, so this is the closest thing to a rate the published lists support.

The mix is not the same everywhere

Some seats are almost entirely shifting; others are almost entirely untraceable

Against a statewide mix of 37% absent and 37% shifted, individual constituencies swing far from that balance in both directions. Death and re-enrolment shares vary more sharply still, and the pattern differs from Delhi’s, where one reason dominated everywhere.
