What is an EPIC number?

The Electors Photo Identity Card (EPIC) number is the unique alphanumeric ID printed on a voter ID card issued by the Election Commission of India.

Is an EPIC number stored when I check it?

No. The EPIC is used only to run the lookup for that request and is not retained.

My EPIC is on the list. What should I do?

File a claim with your Electoral Registration Officer before the draft roll is finalised, and confirm your status on the Election Commission's official portal.
